What do your services include?
We will arrange your whole trip, from the time you arrive until the time you leave.
Our services include; transfers to and from the course with a modern fleet of sedans and luxury vans, and English speaking drivers who all have mobile phones plus
* booking of tee times up to 3 months in advance
* favorable greenfees with fees for caddies and carts included in package
* booking of rental equipment if desired
Greenfees are - again with very few exceptions - very reasonable buy US standards, even on weekends and holiday. They are valid for 18 holes, although some courses offer day greenfees.

Are there “rain cheques” in Asia?
No, if you have to break a round and cannot continue - which is rarely the case - most clubs will generously offer you a discount or a free reservation on another day. This is however up to the discretion of the club.

Do I have to use caddies?
With very few exceptions you do - even when using a cart. Caddies, mostly female, are well trained, professional and very friendly. They know the course, give you valuable hints and nearly find every ball unless of course you “find” the water. Caddie fees range from US$5 - 10. A tip of 50 - 100 % of the caddy fee is suggested and welcomed in exchange for a big, happy smile!

Do I have to use carts?
As a rule no, although some courses insist on using carts on busy weekends and holidays. If you walk your caddy will use a pull trolley. The fees for 18 holes are approx US$/€ 12 - 20.

Not all courses have carts. If you want to use a cart we can direct you to the courses with them and pre-book carts with your tee time.

How are the club houses?
As the majority of courses were built in the last two decades most club houses are very luxurious and plush. Even older clubs such as Royal Hua Hin, founded in 1924, offer excellent facilities by Western standards. All have lockers and changing rooms, showers, massage, towel and shoe service. They also feature bars, restaurants (with very moderate prices) and well stocked pro shops.

Driving ranges are not too common and are offered by only half of the clubs but all have putting and chipping greens.

Can I rent golf equipment?
Yes, most clubs offer this service and we can pre-book golf clubs for you. Golf equipment can also be purchased at very reasonable prices in pro shops and department stores throughout Asia.

Is there a dresscode?
Yes, there is. As in the US and UK, jeans, tank tops, cut-offs or T-shirts are not allowed. Shorts and short socks are.

Is golf in Asia different?
Golf in Asia is played in accordance with the R&A and USGA rules. Thais and other Asians approach the game in a relaxed manner - the main aim is to have fun. On weekdays clubs may permit groups of 5 players.

How can I get to Asia?
Thai Airways now offers direct flights from New York and Los Angeles to Bangkok. Airfares are very reasonable. We would advise you to contact your travel agent or check the internet for the best available fare. We can also help you with flight information. Besides Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and Phuket are also international gateways.

Do I need a visa or vaccination?
For a tourist stay of up to 30 days US nationals do not need a Visa to enter Thailand. However, a Visa is required for China and Vietnam. If in doubt please check with your local embassies or consulates. We can help secure visas for you and your group. Specific vaccinations are not necessary

When is the best time to travel to Asia?
Asia is a tropical area with average temperatures varying from 19° - 40° Celsius (68F - 105F) and humiditiy between 65% - 85%.

Asia has three seasons:
- Cool and dry November to March, average temperatures 20° - 30°C, (70F - 90F) low humidity
- Hot and humid April to June, average temperatures 30° - 40° (some regions in the Northeast even sometimes up to 48°) high humidtiy, regular rain*
- Intermediate season July to October, average temperatures 26° - 38°, medium humidity, regular rain*

* Asia does not have a typical rainy season. In the hot and intermediate seasons normally heavy tropical showers take place mostly late afternoons or at night. All day rains very seldom occur.

Especially July to October are very pleasant months and perfect for golf and/or bargain hunting as prices are “rock bottom”. ”.

Major credit cards are widely accepted. Cash can be withdrawn at banks or teller machines in local currency.

Where is the best place to exchange money?
In our experience you receive a better exchange rate in Asia. There are banks at the airport and throughout the country with easy money exchange options. In many cases they are open nearly around the clock. When you book with us we gladly let you know the current rates of exchange for comparison and your information.

Can I bring electric appliances?
Asia has 220 volts, 50 cycles, in most cases you will need an adapter which can be bought locally or supplied in limited numbers by your hotel. Outlets for electric shavers can be changed also to 110 volts, most hotels supply hairdryers either in your room or free of charge at the reception.

Is it worth shopping in Asia?
ABSOLUTLEY! Asia is a shopper’s paradise for jewellery, silks, art, handicrafts, and fashion and many other things. If you know where to shop, high quality goods can be found for a fraction of the price in the US. We will be pleased to direct you to local vendors with excellent reputations and prices.

Are there any risks with food and drinks?
Generally no. Hotels and the vast majority of restaurants are absolutely safe. Thai food is delicious. Some dishes can be very hot but the majority of Thai food is not spicy and you can order several degrees of spicyness. All in all we are sure you will love the local cuisine! There are also numerous outstanding western and international restaurants in all major towns and cities to enjoy.
It is recommended not to drink tap water even in the five star hotels. Hotels usually supply drinking water in your room and we would recommend using bottled water everywhere you go.
